HP OpenView Service Desk Technical Consultant - Level 2

Purpose of the job

To deliver technical consultancy to a range of customers throughout the UK
Responsible for scoping technical delivery project work
Present to clients throughout the engagement lifecycle
Ability to document a technical implementation to a high specification
Ability to train at all levels

Technical Consulting Manager

Responsibilities

Excellent design and implementation skills with a proven skill in this area
Ability to lead projects through design, implementation and support
Problem solving skills and excellent documentation skills
Ability to continuously self assess key skill area and promote own development
Ability to train others in the key skill area

Communications

Must be able to present to customers
Excellent understanding of the market place
Ability to develop customer business
Ability to perform pre sales functions as applicable

Technical specifications

At least 2 years solid consultancy experience with HP OpenView Service Desk
Experience of consultancy in the area of Service Management
ITIL accreditation (to at least Foundation level)

Career Progression

Progression to level 3 consultant, providing process consultancy around ITIL, as well as project management of ITIL based Service Management projects.

Salary/Benefits

Basic salary TBC
Individual performance related bonus scheme
Car Allowance of £7,000 per annum, plus business and private petrol expenses
