Sales Executive / Account Manager

Background

Partners in IT is a specialist service management consultancy focused on helping customers to achieve increased productivity and cost savings.  As a Premier Platinum Partner for the HP OpenView toolset, and a multiple HP Channel Excellence Award winner, Partners in IT Technical and Process Consultancy, Training and Support services have helped customers across all sectors to break down the barriers to adopting a service approach.
The company has launched a number of subscription services to deliver a cost effective, controlled route to ITIL compliance and highly effective service management. This new sales role will focus primarily in this exciting new area of the business. The successful candidate will join the successful and well established team at Partners in IT.

Location

Flexible. Will be expected to travel to customers sites frequently and attend meetings in the Bracknell office.

Profile

Dynamic and results driven individual with a desire to succeed
Credible sales person, with proven sales skills and can demonstrate great sales ability
Must be highly motivated to succeed and stimulated by reward
Ability to build relationships and maintain them is vital
Need to be energetic and resourceful
Able to work under pressure to perform, and achieve results
A self starter who is able to work with little management time
Good commercial skills, understands the sales process
Proactive in developing opportunities
Must have proven track record in IT sales, preferably in the services area
Knowledge of service management area distinct advantage

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing new accounts in a defined area
Working to an agreed quota in managed services division
Responsible for developing and maintaining sales to the Partners in IT company installed customer base
Attending sales meetings
Presenting the Partners in IT message to customers
Working with technical pre sales resources to win deals
Creating proposal and quotation documents for customers to a high specification
Developing new business leads
Working with project managers during engagement
Will be joining existing established team so must be able to work as a team as well as being self sufficient

Salary

40,000 – 50,000 Base Salary
On Target Earnings approx 100,000 - 120,000

7,000 per annum car allowance and full petrol allowance
Non contributory pension at 5% of base salary
