Overview

The ITIL Overview Presentation is a half-day event presenting the methodology and benefits of ITIL for support and delivery of IT services.

The presentation should be used as a primer for all IT staff during delivery of ITIL processes. This is especially useful when it is not possible to enrol all staff on the ITIL Service Management Essentials course

The presentation can also be used as an initial introduction for IS and business managers who require an overview of ITIL to evaluate the value of adoption for their business.

This presentation offers the ideal environment to:

• Introduce your IT management team to the concepts of ITIL
• Develop a common understanding of ITIL and what it can achieve
• Consider the business value of IT service management
• Promote the benefits of ITIL to colleagues and customers
• Initiate the cultural change to Service based IS delivery

Duration: ½ day (3½ hours)
Audience All IT team members responsible for the delivery of IT services within an ITIL Service Management framework.

Business customers with relationships to IS delivery.

Ideally suited for groups of 10 to 30 delegates.
Candidate Pre-requisites: None .

• The relationships between the processes.

We will also provide:
• a single electronic copy of the presentation
• a copy of the “itSMF IT Service Management: A companion to the IT Infrastructure Library” ( Little ITIL) for each delegate.
